Karan, thanks for letting me know that the Etsy link was not working. It should be working now.
On the stitching side, in the past two days, I finished a greeting card to sell and 1 of a set of 5 Christmas cards that I will be selling later.

Selling some Stash
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I found a great website to sell the stash that I know I won't be using or things that I have stitched that do not go with my decor. Please take a look from time to time. I have only a few things on there, but I will be going home tonight to go look through my leaflets to see if there is anything that I will not be using. Maybe one of you could use it. Please visit at my Etsy site. On stitching....I've done quite a bit. Right now, I'm working on Christmas cards for selling and I'm still working on my son's stocking. Hoping to get pictures up soon. I hope everyone is doing well!!

Busy Weekend
Hi Everyone, I had a pretty busy weekend. For the first time in my life, I've finally been able to redo my whole living room. We were able to buy a couch set with recliner, a new entertainment center, and a new flat screen tv. This is big for me! Sorry, I'm just still so overwhelmed at the moment. So anyways, we also went to fly our kites but there wasn't enough wind. You know, I don't like windy days, but that day...I was praying for wind.... There's always another day though.
Well, so I stitched a little on my Snips-N-Snails this weekend but not enough to show for. I spent most of my weekend stitching some logo plaques for two of my husband's co-workers. For his birthday, I had stitched him his logo with his name underneath that. I couldn't believe how great it looked as a finished product...and so easy. Well, I should've taken a picture of my husband's finished one, but I didn't. So now people are asking him how much I would charge to make them one. I made three before Christmas and this year 3 more have been requested. I've finished two and now I've got one more left to do. Because I was doing so many, I told my husband that he was going to have to ask whoever handles the logo copyright, if it was okay for me to be doing this. Yay..its okay! So anyways, when I can figure out how to blur the name that I stitched, I'll take a picture and show how great the logo looks stitched.

New Finish and Snips N Snails Update
I joined a secret Freebie Kit-up exchange at Jaynes Attic and I recieved mine from my partner this past friday. I thought it was so cute! Its a freebie from the Rainbow Gallery and my partner sent me evenweave, Six Strand sweets to stitch it with, a charm, some ribbon and fabric. I was so excited that I already stitched it. I don't even know if I was supposed to even open it yet, but anyways here's my finish.
So then I finished that one and kept going on my stocking. So here's my progress pic.

Snips N Snails Start
When I first started cross stitch at 17, I always said that one year I would cross stitch a Christmas stocking for everyone in my household. That means I have to do four of them. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I headed into a consignment store looking for something particular and I walked out with a binder full of "Cross Stitch and Country" magazines. I was so happy!! In there, there are three stockings that I need to stitch. The first one will be for my son, the second one will be for my husband, then my mom and then mine. This is the start of the first stocking. I started it two days ago. The chart is hard to read (small symbols) but its been fun so far. I'm loving it.
And this is what its gonna look like!

Happy Dance "Welcome" finish
I finished "Welcome." I'm so happy that it turned out really cute. I almost want to keep it for myself but I think my best friend's mom might like it too.

This is just a closeup of some of the pretty details. I loved all the bright colors. I hope she likes it.

My first day being 27!!
First of all...thanks to all the people that left me a gift. It was fun to see what my online friends wanted to give me. Thanks Friends!!
I had fun on my birthday! We went to eat with some family and had some chocolate cake. My mom had me go the local Michael's craft store and pick out some floss that I needed and a box to store my growing collection of floss finally. My husband had already given me a gift last week. He bought me a Solia hair straightener. By the way, for anyone looking for a good straightener. I think its the best. 2nd in consumer reviews. Thanks Ernest...I love it and I love you!!!! I'm currently stitching a gift for a friend's mom. I'm almost done with it. This is the one,but not my progress picture. I have to charge the batteries in my camera to be able to take a picture.

"Spray of Roses" Finally Finished!

I finally finished this project that I started in January for a client in Great Britain. I could have probably finished it earlier, but I went on vacation and forgot to take it with me. I felt so lost. Can you imagine a vacation AWAY from your CROSS STITCHING! I was having withdrawals. So anyways, here it is finally. I hope she likes it.

Small Finishes
I've just realized, that I never did post my most recent small finishes for exchanges and such.
This is a card I made for the EMS quick Easter card exchange. It was a freebie from Lucie Heaton. I just added Happy Easter at the top.
Meet one of my favorites...Tatty Teddy. I did this one for a client to give to his wife on Valentine's Day.
This is a freebie but I don't remember from who or where. I stitched it for a Secret valentine Exchange on Jayne's Attic.
This was a bookmark exchange that I did on EMS.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my stuff. Right now, I'm still currently working on "Spray of Roses" for a client. All of I've got left is backstitching. I'll post when its done...hopefully soon.

Been Awhile!
Wow...its been awhile. Sorry for the few that actually do read my blog!!! I've been pretty busy. I've been working, stitching, and traveling. Since the last time I've blogged, I've finished a few projects. You can see them added to my slideshow on my myspace. You'll also find pictures of our trip to Florida. Take a look! Right now, I'm trying to finish a project for a client. Since I went on vacation, I lost a few days on it and so now I'm trying extra hard to get it finished before April. Not much left to go...just backstitching (but a lot of it). I'll try to post an update picture once I charge the batteries for my camera. I've been kinda lazy since I got back. So anyways....that's my life right. I'll try to post more often. And oh yeah....

My Promise!
I have just left a comment on Rachael's blog . Anyone wanna join in? As I told Rachael...I've never had a chance to participate in any exchanges or RRs...this could be a start for me. I really like the idea.
The guidelines:
"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."Want to participate? Be one of the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post and make the same promise on your own blog. I'll send a message to the first three comment posters, to get mailing addresses ;)

Yippee, another finish!!!!

Finally finished this one today. It took me about two weeks! No, not 336 hours...on average, I worked on it for 1-2 hours a day. This will be a gift for my supervisor. It has a pretty mat to go with it and when I get it completed, I will post a picture.

In the Holiday Spirit

I bought this underwear cover about two years ago when my son was just born. I remembered that I had them, tried them on him...and it still fit him. He was excited and wanted to pose for pictures. Isn't he cute!

Quilt for Young Son!

Yep...its been awhile..I know. I haven't had much going on, and I try not to post on the weekends. Those are my days off except for stitching. I've come up with a project. I've been wanting to stitch some sports squares to make my son a quilt. So, what I'll do is about bi-monthly or so...I'll post a new square to stitch. Kind of like a mystery sampler. I myself won't actually start this project until a few months after Christmas. I've got projects to finish for Christmas and one more big project that I'm getting paid to stitch. Hopefully, I'll make it for his birthday next September. Maybe someone could start these and e-mail me so I can post the model. Just a thought. After this one is finished, maybe I'll do one for a girl. So, I've drawn out a template for a twin size quilt. I've written the dimensions...just click and print. Granted...I'm not a sewer..so I would recommend that you talk with someone that is an expert (or even a novice) quilter. My mom sews but she doesn't really do quilts. I'm sure she still knows about cutting and seams and such. So, please don't blame me if you cut the fabric according to the template...you're supposed to leave a seam allowance. The template is only for the face front. I will tell you what materials you need. You may want to ask your sewer on this too!
Materials:
-20 14"x14" cut cross stitched squares (about 10"x10" inches stitched)
-About 3-4 yards for border and sashing
-backing 72"x88"
-batting 72"x88"
-quite a bit of fabric for binding

Cross Stitch Freebie from Me to You!

I have finally pushed myself to design something. I had been trying desperately to find a freebie just like this. I needed a welcome sign but the only ones I could find were very country. So, I designed one. I hope you like it. Please visit frequently. I might just have to design a few more.
